My Great Grandpa lived in a part of Pulaski County that turned into McCreary County when he was a youngin. The family before him was in Pulaski County, The family after him was in McCreary County. That's what brought me here to you, my Fathers side.

My Mothers family is from Pike County, Kentucky. My Great Grandfather on her side was George Washington Duty his children grew up to marry Hatfields & McCoys, yes THE Hatfields and The McCoys, and they were marrying DURING The Fued years. He moved to Ohio to put a little distance in there after threats were made to his wife and children. A 6th Great Grandfather, Thomas Blackburn, on Mothers side was friend and right hand man to George Washington, THE George Washington, this same G-Greandfather was lead horse in military procession of George's funeral, in full Military Dress.
